Half-pint.
Disseminated anger.
Neuron highways stretch over neuroticism.
Shake me until I am happy.
All lines of stress sighed deeply.
Signs of tension pour out.
Shake me until I laugh!
Giggles erupted.
Volcano, avalanche – relief rolls down.
I am trying not to take myself too seriously.

You were my sweet last sip.
Stinging backwash grazed my lips.
Put the glass down without a doubt,
Never returned to wash it out.
Impart on me the wisdom
That only graces with silence.
Because you, my once loved,
Are lost in all your guidance.
Comforted by all your decisions
And pretend revisions.
I’m young and you’re wandering.
We’re wondering how to move forward.
Unfold like morning glories
Or explode—gnats against my eighty-five miles per hour dashboard.
Your life is terrible
—At times
My life is bearable
—Sometimes
You turn to your friends.
I turn away from my enemies.
We break even.

Spring blessing
Summer fire
Fall in love
Winter death
